FAQ

How long does a game take?

About 15 minutes for six Party rounds or ten quiz questions, including two minutes for everyone to join. It fits the start of a meeting or the end of a class.

Do people need to know Excel?

No. Party mode is about writing believable fake answers to real Excel facts and funny answers about deadpan spreadsheets, so beginners win as often as experts. The quiz modes teach real formulas along the way.

What do I need?

A screen everyone can see (a projector, TV or a shared screen on a video call) and everyone's phone. Players scan the QR code or type the four-letter code at cellwise.app/clash. No accounts, no downloads, no cost.

Does it work on Zoom or Teams calls?

Yes. Share your screen with presenter mode on, and players join on their phones or in another browser tab with the room code.

How many people can play?

Up to 100 in one room. Teams mode splits everyone into Red and Blue for a class or department.

Is anything stored about my players?

Only the name each player types, and only while the room is open. Nothing is kept after the game.
