Build it step by step
Step 1
Parties that said Yes bring everyone invited; everyone else counts as 0. Write it in E2, fill to E11.
Step 2
How many guests are confirmed? Put it in H1.
Step 3
How many parties have not replied? Their RSVP cell is empty. Put it in H2.
Step 4
What does the wedding cost right now? The flat venue cost in H4 plus confirmed guests times the per-head price in H3. Put it in H5.
Step 5
Worst case: everyone who has not said No shows up. Price that out in H6.
Step 6
In H8 show "Over by" and the amount if the worst case beats the budget in H7, otherwise "Fits".
